What to wear to a photo-shoot?

That depends on the look you want to achieve. The clothes you bring determine the character of the images. More corporate looking clothes will contribute to images that have more formal feel. If you bring sparkles and lace, the images will have more glamorous look to them. You can even go for a white singlet and a pair of jeans, if you like the Calvin Klein look. The choice is absolutely up to you.

This is your chance to dive into your wardrobe and have some fun. You can wear clothes that you love, but do not get a chance to wear them often. It doesn’t even matter if they do not fit properly. You can even wear your wedding dress. Whatever your choices are, here are a few guidelines that you should follow.

You will need 5 outfits.

Avoid prints, as they are distracting. You want people to look at you when they see your portrait. Even the most beautiful print will steal attention away from your face. Think Texture. Sumptuous textures lend a rich, tactile element to your photos.

Remember simplicity is the key.

Fit Your Form. Fitted clothing that shows your shape, work best for photographs. This applies to any body type. Choose outfits that will hug your curves, especially your waist, hips, arms, and chest.

Bring correct underwear, scarves, earrings, and necklaces.
